Frequently Asked Questions
Who are you?
After an amazing career in professional sports management, I’m thrilled to return to my first love — photography.
Initially, I pursued a degree in photojournalism, but a rare eye disorder forced me to alter my career path. Despite this, I never let go of my camera or my passion for photography, seamlessly integrating it into my various professional roles, which included serving as editor for numerous team publications. My position in sports provided unique opportunities to capture memorable moments, many of which have graced publications and social media over the years.
Today, I’m what you might call a ‘photogeneralist.’ I get great joy in photographing everything from poignant human expressions to the dynamic action of sports and events to breathtaking landscapes. Whether it’s people, places, or events, I aim to capture the essence of each moment.
If you have an event, project, or idea you want immortalized through the lens, let’s connect.
What’s your 20?
I work, live and play in the great Pacific Northwest, specifically the Portland/Vancouver area.
What's this about sports management?
It's true! I've been incredibly lucky enough to work for three great organizations: the Portland Trail Blazers, the Portland Timbers and FIFA Women's World Cup. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
What makes you tick?
My family and friends, my Irish Terrorist dog Mardy Bird, live music, biking, cooking, camping, the great outdoors, Astoria, travel, Amtrak, the Trail Blazers, the Timbers, the Packers, the Cubs, Oregon State, Manchester United, coffee, craft beer and delicious food, of course.
